PTFE is a white solution that is applied to the upper surface of your desired enclosure to prevent the escape of ants. It is best used on clean, smooth surfaces. 
 
Gently apply with a cotton bud and allow 10 minutes to air-dry. This ensures that the barrier is formed correctly and secondly, prevents possible harmful fumes to the ants, which occur during the drying process.
 
Each bottle contains a pure PTFE solution that is not watered down, for maximum efficiency against most species of ant.
