Mini Bark
Mini Bark
Small, natural-style bark fragments designed to add texture and detail to your outworld. These lightweight pieces are perfect for breaking up open space, creating subtle cover, or building more varied, realistic terrain.
Their irregular shapes encourage exploration and give workers more routes to navigate, while also providing places to hide food or rest. Easy to move and arrange, they’re ideal for customising your setup as your colony grows.
Some species may even interact with the bark itself, shifting smaller pieces or incorporating debris into their surroundings, adding more natural behaviour to observe.
Key features:
- Natural bark
- Adds detail and variation to terrain
- Encourages exploration and movement
- Lightweight and easy to reposition
- Ant-safe and durable
Build, shape, and watch your own miniature world take form.

My go to place, large selection of ants and top quality service. My ant empire is slowly growing with the latest edition of Acromyrmex octospinosus which was well packed and the fungus has next to no die off from the shipping.
I recieved my lovely Myrmecia nigriceps queen in haste. Box was well packaged; Temperature was well defended against, and disturbance was well reduced with 2 layers of loose packing peanuts, one outside of the polystyrene box, and one inside...
We bought this for our granddaughter, as she had a pet garden ant that sadly passed way. We got The formiLab (nano) ant nest starter kit. The ant colony is Messor barbarus with one queen and 2/5 workers and there are brood too! Everything you need to get started...
A wonderful company bringing ants to the masses. My son and I attended a workshop with Cesar today. He was wonderfully knowledgeable and handled 8 children so well who were excited about being ant keepers....
