Designed specifically for leaf cutter ants, this robust feeding pod provides a spacious, secure, and adaptable environment for introducing foliage for your leafcutters to find and cut. Suitable for Atta and Acromyrmex colonies, the unit includes dual 32mm OD (28mm ID) acrylic tube connectors, allowing easy integration into both AntsHQ and third-party formicarium systems.

The pod offers ample internal space, supporting developing colonies and extended use before scaling up. A key feature is the triple-zone perimeter designed for anti-escape barrier, allowing for open-top use, ideal when using suspended vines or natural branches to replicate foraging behaviours.
 
Efficient ventilation & secure construction

A removable mesh lid ensures optimal airflow, while additional side ventilation helps regulate internal humidity and prevents condensation. All fastenings are screw-mounted into metal inserts for maximum durability and repeated use without wear.
 
Modular and re-usable

Supplied flat-packed with comprehensive instructions, the unit assembles easily without adhesives. Once no longer required as a feeding chamber, the pod can be dismantled, cleaned, and repurposed, commonly used as a refuse or midden chamber for mature colonies.
 
Optional airflow support

Compatible with 40mm USB fans and a dedicated fan mount (available separately), the pod can support active airflow management when used alongside fungus pods or in high-humidity environments.
