This complete starter setup takes the guesswork out of temperature, humidity, and layout, offering everything you need to begin keeping Atta or Acromyrmex species in a controlled, low-maintenance environment.

Perfect for new and seasoned keepers ready to take on this fascinating species, the system has been carefully designed to meet the specific environmental needs of their fungus gardens.

This full kit includes all core modules: fungus pod, feeding pod, waste pod, and heating box along with all connecting tubes, heating elements, and climate monitoring. Each component is engineered to work together seamlessly, providing stable temperature and humidity conditions year-round.

Designed for simplicity and performance

The included heating box creates a consistent environment for fungal growth, with integrated cable clips, 15W heat cables, and ventilation ports. Dual temperature and moisture monitors offer live readings via Bluetooth, helping you maintain 24.5–25°C and 90–100% humidity inside the fungus pod. An optional 40mm USB fan (sold separately) can be installed to introduce cooler air on warm days, ideal when used alongside room air conditioning.

Easy to construct and modular

All large components are now supplied flat-pack with detailed instructions, making setup straightforward and allowing for secure shipping across. The layout of the pods side-by-side requires a a dedicated area of approximately 1.2 metres.

Smart, expandable system

The setup is designed to grow with your colony and can connect and expand to future fungus, foraging and waste pods.
