The Peanut granules blend refill is a handy top up and source of protein and fatty acids for seed dispersing species. Young founding colonies will take these (especially if pre-crushed) but we often find more success in established colonies with 40+ workers.
This type of seed is high in protein, lipids and phosphorus - all of which aid in the development of the young during the larval stage, especially in Pheidole or Carebara spp.
